I've recently treated myself to a new tent, its a Vango Alpha 400 and has a height of 135 cm in the middle so there's quite a bit of room inside for me when I go camping on my todd.
I am looking for a mini camping chair to use inside this tent, that will allow me to sit up as I read, watch the world go by when its raining etc etc.
I have found chairs like this, and like these, even fishing chairs have been suggested but they're a bit expensive.
Anyway if anyone has any first hand experience with these mini chairs, ie if they are any good, if they are comfortable, I'd really appreciate your help.
I have the first one after a recomendation on here.
2nd one is ok but make sure you are sitting on a rug or you will get cold/damp legs. It DOES have the advantage of you being able to sit on it in bed all tucked up tho.
Good luck in your decision (or be greedy and have both LOL)
I have a couple of Gelert chairs similar to this that I use in my small Vango which is the same height as yours, they were about £6 each. The seat is about 40 cm high.
I've got one like your first example, except that mine's a Wynnster and it only cost £5.00 from Jacksons of Old Arley, but it is comfortable to sit on. Only thing I would suggest is that you put your pillow under your heels, as you obviously stretch your legs out and rest on your heels when using a low chair.
I got two Gelert ones to use in our tents, even used them outside last weekend as they are low without being virtually on the ground like the ones on Chris's post.
They were I think £6 each, like the ones in Bernie's post but with cup holders and cool bags at the front.
