Hi there - I am sure that somebody posted in the last couple of weeks about a mini electric oven which cost £9.99. I cant find the thread and can not remember where it was on sale .

Can anybody remember?

Thanks

I think it was 19.99 from aldi/lidl not sure which. They are good if you are thinking of getting one.My four year olds main diet at the moment is Yorkshire puds veg and gravy. No problem now i have one of these !!!

Thanks Angela ( same name as me  )

oops thought it was £9.99 - is it the type with a timer? Had a look in home bargains today but it wasnt there so will have a look in Lidl and Aldi next week.

Your 4 year old obviously has great taste - nowt better than yorkies with veggies and loads of gravy yum yum. My daughter was the same - too lazy to chew meat but loved veggies I did exactly the same for her.

We have the £14.99 from Wilkos, but we bought it when it was £9.99 a couple of years ago. We loved it but found it too small at times so we bought the £19.99 from Lidl and it`s excellent

The £19.99 Lidl one is indeed amazingly good (if you remember to actually switch the elements on as well as the timer), but too big for me to fit in the car. (though the weather over the past 2 weeks forced me to buy a small (£30) microwave while I was away anyway )

If only small microwave combis weren't so expensive you could leave the 1KW kettle and the toaster behind. (though I find the toast made in my combi at home a bit too dry - as well as slow)

... so maybe a microwave plus one of the teeny Poundstretcher-type ones would cover all eventualities ... I will be looking to experiment with one myself....

I will be keeping at least one of my growing collection of ovens in the office at work for the remainder of the year so they earn their keep.
