We did  footprint, sig, pod ground sheeet, waterproof picnic rug, airbed, fleece blanket (£2 Asda), sleeping bag, fleece blanket.

Had blow up pillows but never again , couldn't get comfy and they kept falling off - bought real ones (cheapest possible) and the fleeces slid off the bed during the night.

Bought one of the silver backed stawish type mats and was thinking they may be good under the airbed then re-thought as worried in case splinters would puncture them. 

We used the space blankets in March and I think they worked, that or I'm warm blooded which I doubt as I'm sat here at the moment with a cardy on!

Summerhols we just had airbed on the floor with a fleece blanket held on by a fitted sheet with double duvet, never felt cold!

We use space blankets as they are tiny and yes they do work !

Tarp

SIG or loose groundsheet

Bedroom SIG

Space blankets

Fleece blankets

Sleeping bag with cotton inner (made them myself out of old duvet covers)

Never cold at night :)

The fleeces shouldnt slip off if on the fleecy topped airbeds but you can attach elastic that goes either over the corners or underneath the airbeds to hold them on.

are all the different blankets and fleeces under and over the air beds just to keep you warm or is ther another reason.? We just use an air bed and 3season sleeping bag and are plenty warm enough.

In a word.... insulation

Camping stores sometimes have them and possibly the army navy stores

Or online

They pack real small. not as small as when you get them but still small
