A lot depends on what power your laptop consumes and the capacity of your car battery.
My laptop power supply is rated as 3.25A output so I'd expect my laptop to consume around this figure. Over a 4 hour period (as an example) it would take 13ah out of the battery, which shuoldn't cause you a problem.
So you could use your laptop for say 4 hours a day / night and not have any problems with the car battery.
This is assumeing you are using it direct from the cigar adaptor and not using an inverter. Using an inverter would consume LOADS ore power.
