A must have if you have electric hook up when in a tent.... took George Forman grill camping this year!!! Sad I know but wow what a life saver!!! cooked paninis, teacakes, toasted sandwiches, grilled chicken, bacon, crumpets and anything else that would go on the grill!!! Amazing I think I used it more whilst camping than I have in the whole time that I have had it at home.... Try it and see....
i always take my foreman camping. i have one for home and one for camping. much smaller for camping though. they are also very easy to clean. got a few strange looks when i first started taking it though. as most people hadnt thought about using them then. its like having a barbecue as OH is in charge of george while i take care of the cooker.
We have a GF grill, but it's a gas version. It takes small round gas canisters. It comes in a hard case, that folds outwards so you have a worksurface too! The GF has legs that pop out from underneath to keep it sturdy.
We found this a god send when we went away to Devon for 2 weeks. Cooked everything. My eldest son also had a go at cooking small pizzas on it!! Healthy way of cooking too!!
------------- love shopping, love a bargain even more!
They said that on the web site but I got an email to say they were coming in the next day - maybe worth giving them a ring as they are the cheapest I found by a good £10 May just have been too busy to update web page??
Just been away and used the outside grill for 11 days. Was very impressed, not quite the same as a real BBQ but a lot easier to use and clean. For the £48 we paid i think it was a great buy.
We got a George Formby grill. You have a silly smile on your face while you're cooking with it and listening to daft songs, and at the end it's all turned out nice again.
The Gas version is called the FB grill - google it and you'll find loads of options. I have seen it from £30 up to £70 not including postage. There are/were some being sold on eBay but worked out at about £50ish.
