Has anyone bought anything from wild day via their ebay shop? The tent I'm looking at is cheaper if bought through ebay than from the main website, anyone know if it makes a difference to their level of service?
Yes, I've bought equipment from them off ebay, and the level of service is just as good as going direct through the shop. They're a very reliable company.
Me too, i bought a 4 berth Campingaz tent from them (for garden camping), and although they fibbed about the HH on the listing, delivery was quick and the tent has done its job.
How strange... you'd have thought the prices would at least be the same, surely making it cheaper to go via eBay versus their own site encourages more people to do the former and costs the company more in eBay charges.
------------- Please do not adjust your mind... there is a fault in reality

It's just another way of reaching the market...there are folk who know very little aboit camping shops and would never reach Wilddays otherwise. Many of the big camping retailers have an ebay outlet. And the more you sell, the cheape you can sell it, usually. Plus you can get rid of all your surplus discounted stock faster. Great source of bargains.
One of my best Ebay bargains was buying a £380 tent a couple of years back for £199, which undercut my local camping emporium by £50, and everywhere else by more. When it turned up I realised it was from my local camping emporium's ebay section, lol. If they'd just told me I'd have popped up to get it and saved them the (free to me) postage! Turned out they'd picked up the last of the Vango stock of this tent to clear it on at a discount.
