mine is the same just needs a slight wind and off it goes.. even with a windbreak around it and me..

but still a fab bit of kit that i would not be without..

We have the Safari Chef Deluxe & we have the same issue.  It will not even boil water on a blowy day.  I ended up making a wind sheild.  I will not be replacing it when it falls to bits.  I don't rate Cadacs in spite of all the hype.

The Cadac - like any gas appliance - can be sensitive to excessive wind.

Make sure it's a bit shielded though and they''re fine (assuming you've got enough gas getting through).

Despite other's comments on here as far as I'm concerned they're vastly easier and quicker than a Cobb - and have far more usable cooking space (depending on model). Currently I've got a Safari-Chef (my second of these) and a Carri-Chef. I've rarely had problem with wind on either.
