Know this question has probably been asked before...but I'm looking for cooler or chill box.

I'm using a chilll box at moment but now we have EHU and are going to France next year, would welcome any feedback on what has worked for you both UK and euro

we have the halfords 35 ltr 12v coolbox and run it off a mains power converter which halfords and other outlets also sell,we paid £64 for it back in july but at the moment its down to £49.99 and a very good cooler it is too and at a bargain price,the same box is being sold still at other online outlets in excess of £70....

the halfords 35ltr box is exactly the same coolbox as the 35ltr outwell item which i believe are both made by waeco.

Consider a WAECO combi-cool. 12vdc, 240vac & LPG....it does exactly as it says on the can.

For the best value cool box wait until Aldi or lidl are selling one they are often 29litres, cost £29.99 and come with both a car power socket plug and a 240v plug this saves the cost of buying a £15 adaptor for the car cigarette plug to go to a 240v three pin normal plug.

I'll check out Halfords next week

i did have this until it conked in last month after 4 years. now got an outwell one from gooutdoors. but it looks like they have sold out. they were only £29.99 and just has good as the campingaz one.
