Can anyone please tell me why an awning that fits a caravan upto 885cm will not fit a caravan measuring 900cm?
I'm changing 'vans and my awning fitted a Bailey measuring 877 (the max it goes upto is 885cm) and my new 'van is 900cm. The difference is only 15cm (or 7.5cm each side of the awning)
Keep your awning and try it on the ,van before making any decisions. We did and ours fits (it's also a Bradcot Classic), a bit of a more snug fit nonetheless, but at least we didn't have to buy a new awning or have it altered. I think ours is a 960 and the size recommended was 975 and only Isabella do that exact size.
I've got a Bradcot Classic 900 with Easy Pole system plus matching breathable groundsheet, curtains etc for sale at the moment if you're interested. Colour grey/green.
The groundsheet is virtually new having only been used for two weeks during the Summer just gone.
It's advertised in Practical Caravan as well as in the For Sale listings here this month for £200.00 but to any UK Campsite subscriber I'll allow a 10% discount.
Vert rarely are awnings the exact size, and I think you will find the skirt might not (just) meet the ground properly just adjacent to the van sides. I had one like this but just stood something in front of the minor gap (if any).
I'd certainly give it a try before making any decision

Thanks for the advice everyone. I pick the van up in a few days, so I'll try it out first.
Vic, I will take you up on your Classic if mine doesn't fit- assuming you still have it that is. Give me a week or so and I'll get back to you.
Thanks again
Currently it is not sold. Away for an Autumn break from Monday to Friday next week. So if you do contact me, don't expect a response before Saturday (11th).
Do what we did when we changed from our monza 13ft to a elddis firestorm which is about 14ft get your awning altered it is a lot cheaper than a new awning we paid £110 for ours to be altered from a firm in stockton on tees but there are firms all over the country doing it why get rid of an awning you like.

Never thought of that Skiddy. I'll check out what companies there are around here. Vic's awning is same type and colour as ours so it's good to know we will still have an awning we like either way.
Vic, leave me some contact details please, so I can talk to you about the awning - it's condition, collection/postage etc. I'm down near Portsmouth week beginning 13th - not sure what day at the moment though.

Hope you had a good time away.
Cheers again and thanks to Skiddy too.

Colour is grey/green with curtains. The condition is good with no tears or repairs. Pole system all functional. Breathable groundsheet is green and has only been used for two weeks this year - bought new last spring.
