Halfords have the French EHU adapters, about £3 , I got two and chopped the French plug of one, and fitted a std UK 13amp plug, making a handy adapter for when needed, CPC at Preston are doing the Polarity checkers for £1!, now that is cheap, as most shops can charge upto £10 for the Polarity checkers, although the better ones do also have a audible buzzer built in as well as the 3 LED indicators, some EHU units like the Sunncamp three way, have Polarity checkers built in, you can make a Polarity conversion adapter using a short length of Artic cable and Male/Female comando conectors (the blue EHU ones), just wire + to - , will save you re-wiring the EHU plug on site, and I do not think you can buy Polarity reverse adaptors for obvious reasons!.
