Putting in the dimensions sounds like an excellent scheme.
However if you're strapped for cash and have a compatible unit ,as I put on the earlier thread , igo definitely takes a different route over some roads if you select lorry. I haven't tried it but I presume if I put bus I'll get the narrow road avoidance too  few bus drivers could have used that in the past.
No doubt I'll be told again that I'm wrong and selecting truck on any sat nav only affects times  but as I have it here in front of me.....................with a route selected.......
