We are looking for single beds, with extra height so that we can get out more easily! Trying to decide between the Coleman raised quickbed, which looks a generous size, or the combination of a camp bed (Sunncamp) and fat airic, which many people recommend, but looks a little narrow. Any views?

We have just bought a Coleman, not used it yet but blew it up in the lounge at home and had a try. Very comfy.

We use two Argos camp beds (the heavier steel type) tie-wrapped together with a Coleman double comfort bed on top. Two home made headboards stop the pillows sliding off in the night.

Plenty of storage under the bed and nice to be able to sit on the edge of the bed when getting up! Nice fit in the Monty with the centre divide open.

We use the fat airic on top of the outwell summer bed, very very comfortable, and warm being off the cold ground. Im 6ft plus and 18 stone, before we could only camp for short hols, the airbed would kill my back after 4 days and then suffer for weeks after. Now we camp for as long as we want. Well worth every penny we spent on the beds and the fat airics.
