Hi applesandpears, 'an attwooll cheltenham' what?? there is a shop called Attwoolls around Cheltenham- but I am puzzled as to what exact item you refer to. gery
Attwoolls is the maker the model name of the tent is the cheltenham, but i have not been able to find it on their site i assume it is a discontinued model, just thought some may have some information about it be fore i consider putting a bid on
I live 5 miles from Atwoolls and am there all the time. Its like the old Outwell Hartfords in layout and its inner pitch first I think. Its a big tent too. I was told the Atwoolls tents are made by Khyam so the quality should be good.

Thanks for that, now just got to convince OH that we need another tent and extra gear, could try the line that we keep anything better that our current kit and pass the rest on to one of our camping enthusiastic daughters!
I live near Attwoolls, and bought their Bibury tent, I think it's discontinued now. It was a great tent, and lasted me for 3 years until oldest son borrowed it last year and ruined it!
It was similar to the Khyam Vale and as Attwoolls tents are made by Kyham the quality is very good. It never leaked during some horrendous weather, and stood solid. Only drawback was that it pitched inner first, so you needed to be quick if it was raining.
Did a bit of research before buying my tent. liked the look of the atwools berkly delux which they have in store. Noticed they sell alot of khyam tents, so went to the Khyam website and and found the Khyam Ontario 8, which is exactly the same as the Berkley and around 50 quid cheaper after shopping around. The only difference is the colour.
Had a look for a friends tent, different model, again branded Atwools, found the same again on the Khyam website.
So goto Khyam and have a look. Good luck you never know
