Yes I did! Only just got back online to reply. Some of us have to be sneaky.
They had them! Didn't get any today though, coz I want to get a few things tomorrow.
They have the enamel stuff back in too! Shallow dishes, bowls and cups. Gonna be getting some of those!
Also there were those mini folding stools, quite decent looking torches, some cheap groundsheets, mess tins (got one of those already from last year)... that's all I can remember right now...
My mum has been and bought some of the enamel stuff and a UFO light (which we've tested and is GREAT for £1!!! Also they had the picnic rugs (she went to Preston whereas I was in Manchester) so she got two. Now, they are a waterproof type of picnic blanket, not a conventional rug as I thought. I guess more like a groundsheet style rug, but the material is a bit spongey. She said they did have the regular tartan style rugs but they were smaller... And they got me one of those pop-up linen baskets. Now they pop up easily, but trying to get them back into the small pocket, we just can't get the hang of it!
Right, didn't manage to get there at lunchtime, but I'm going to pop in there on my way home... I'm getting one of those folding stools. Think it will be great for when I'm painting with my portable easel. I'll let you know what the quality is like... but what can you expect for a £1! If it holds my weight and doesn't collapse that's good enough for me!
I've been today spent £27!! The tartan picnic blankets are great for going under kids airbeds. I got the UFO lights aswell OH was well impressed with me, now that rarely happens when I've been shopping!
OK, so I nearly left the stool on the train the other night... It's not bad for a £1, bit like sitting on an old fashioned bike seat... and it didn't collapse! LOL
Yeah, those UFO lights are a bit different in that they will fit around a parasol as well won't they? We might try that with one of the umbrellas...
£27??? You must have had 3 trollies worth of stuff! LOL
Hope you manage to get some bargain goodies! Think I'm going to pay another visit there at lunchtime to see if they've got anything else. Did anybody see the utility knife? I've already got a basic Swiss Army Knife, but the Poundland one has more tools, so I might get one as an additional piece of kit...
