The voltage is no different than at your house, mains 240Volt AC, the generic name for the cable used is Artic cable and the Blue Male/Female connectors are called Commando conectors, to give you an idea on price variations, the Sunnacamp 3 way EHU c/w 20mtrs cable is £100 in Argos, £60 most shops, and recently £35 at Camperlands Manchester, got mine from "The Range" back in November, end of season clearance at £35 so it pays to shop around and buy out of season me thinks. don't bother making your own, apart from the obvious, the campsite site staff will not allow it's use, at thier discretion.
