I went to town and bought an INTEX queen size airbed.  Plug in and inflate/deflate in 3 minutes!

I have difficulty getting up from low beds so this was ideal...see the thread.

Having read all your advice we went for the Coleman 12V quickpump.   Just tried it out prior to camping tomorrow and it's brilliant!!!  Inflates in no time at all and deflates far better then me rolling around on the bed trying to hold the valve.  Well worth the tenner it cost.
