Before i managed to buy a new bed and mattress,i used a couple of aero beds in my bedroom.The pumps are great and really powerful,and inflate them incredibly quickly.As i was using them as a non permenant bed,i just left them inflated.over the months,they widen and stretch.so if they start out 2 feet wide when first inflated,after a month or so,they stretch to become about 3 feet wide... Then weaken and leak after about 3 to 4 months.My consistent and continual use of them as a basic bed,probably led them to become stretched and weaken.I would let the air out if i was using them for camping,so they last longer.
