As a car camper I am not really sure what the benefit is to these over some good and cheap Rock\Tarzan Pegs, plus some sites I have been on only metal pegs would do.
Sorry to repeat what others have said but you cannot in my experience beat Delta pegs, it was the best thing I bought last year and I am going to get some more for the guy lines of my accessories this year.
I have used a few different pegs in my time and they all do the job but all have the occasional problems.
The wire pegs I always used were fine but did bend a lot. They can be straightened but eventually become so bent and twisted that they have to be replaced.
Plastic/nylon pegs are good but will eventually bend when they hit a rock and are not so easy to straighten...if they get bent they are usually rendered useless.
I am now using rock pegs which come in various styles depending on your choice. Very good for most terrains but those with plastic tops can become damaged.
So...as stated... all pegs do the job and really it's down to personal preference. My favourites at the moment are the orange topped rock pegs which seem to be quite durable. I also still use wire pegs for certain guys such as those holding the vent flaps open.
The Rhino pegs look ok but they are plastic/nylon and look quite thin so may not last long. I use a similar 'mushroom' groundsheet peg which sits a lot flatter than the Rhino which looks to me as if it could stick up a bit.
Plastic pegs are ok in soil that has no stones in it but it is advisable to always include a set of rock pegs in case of stony ground whatever other types of peg you bring.
Hi fadboy.
Thanks for the recommendation. I'll take a look at them.
Whilst you're on, do you have any recommendations for any other camping gear? It's just that since joining UKCS, you made 3 glowing posts for these pegs in your first fortnight, then come back almost 9 years later to rake up a very old thread to make similar references for the very same pegs... with no further posts on any other camping related topics.
I'd hate for folk to get the wrong idea, and think you had a passing interest in the product, as I know some folk are so sceptical.

Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
