Okay I think I saw one of these toasters in our local Millets...does it have a mesh underside?  If so, I will return tomorrow and pick one up as on testing ours, it takes several minutes...like 5 or 6 to get one piece of toast lightly toasted.

  OMG!!!!  These are great.  After waiting forever to get toast yesterday while testing the one that came with our campstove, this one is a true wonder!!  Less than 25 secs for a piece of toast just after putting it on the burner.  Unbelievable! 

I bought two (took son back to the centre on our bikes when Gary said this was the one).  One for us and one for some friends of ours who are just starting out in camping like us.

Way cool!   Thanks for the heads up tip!
