I bought 4 lovely thick fleece blankets of a decent size today from ikea (polarvide) for £2.56 each - this is the usual price apparantly. They had Navy, Red, Black, Green or Cream (all plain) Bought 2 Navy ones for me and OH.
They also had some for £1.50 (IRMA) which are the same size but ever so slightly thinner - lovely baby blue colour, bought 1 each for my little girls in their sleeping bag.
The kids have had a "camping blanket" each for a few years now they started life as an Ikea fleece (the blankets not the kids!!)
Whenever we go away we buy fabric badges and I sew them on their blankets, it makes them colourful, no arguments about which blanket belongs to who and it's nice to reminisce about the various places we've been.
what a fab idea, i have done it on towels when kids have won awards swim and canoe etc but the idea of buying badges and sewing on blanket is great and will be good to look back on in years to come

Definately a good buy!
Hi, could you tell me how big these are please. The cheapest i have found was £5 but that would cover a double airbed.

------------- were caravaning but now tenting and now back to a caravan
Well just been to IKEA to get myself some of these blankets as posted above and i found the same size blankets in IKEA for even less. Managed to get these on link below instead for £1.56 each and they are the same size as the ones posted above. We picked up 4 of these to go on our airbeds. I think these are a bargin for people.
