hi all i am new to camping went once last year and loved it so this year going to take family to normandy for a week.Ibrought a 3 gang hook up fom sun camp which Contains:
* 3 way 13a socket
* Distribution box with transparent window
* 10a twin pole circuit breaker
* 20m 25a cable
* 240 volt UK site plug.

What i was wondering was will this be ok in france or will i need any eoro adaptors etc thanks in advance for any advice

in my experience, it varies from site to site. Some you will be ok at while others may require a two pin adapter. Not expensive and available at most camping stores. Less than a fiver if I remember correctly, so get one to have with you before you go.

Some sites will loan you the adapter for a small deposit.

                        I would advise getting the 2 pin adaptor (Halfords £3.50), also why not either make or buy an adaptor so that you can plug the EHU in at home, this can be handy for checking the EHU or even using it out in the garden, also you will notice on the Sunncamp, it has a built in polarity checker/warning light, when that lights the polarity is reversed, again a situation tha can be found on some French campsites, to correct polarity you can simply insert an adapter, but you cant't buy them, but they are very easy to make yourself, having said that, have a look at the posts regarding reversed polarity, differing views, but nothing you need realy be concerned about, should you experiance it, just somthing to be aware of when that warning light glows, hope that helps

It varies in France.  Some have the blue sockets like in the UK, others have the European type sockets.  I'd carry an adapter yust in case.

Good point.  Had that a few times now.  New appliances are double pole switched & double insulated.  New electrical installations have circuit breakers on live & neutral.  Older appliances with an earth & a switch only on the live can lead to a potentially fatal fault when polarity is reversed if the fuse blows leaving the "live" still on.  If there is an earth fault (like a cut wire touching metal or getting an appliance wet) you can get a shock with only a 16A circuit breaker & your earth leakage breaker protecting you.  Worse again if your camper has fuses instead of double pole circuit breakers.  Domestic installations are now installed like our continental friends to overcome the same problem in the home.
