ours are great, easy to pack and easy to dry and we are used to the feeling now.

Wish we had found them at £3.99 though - have a feeling we paid much more than that

Some microfibre towels are totally different to others. Saw some cheap ones in asda....but they just looked like very thin conventional towels..... not like the ones "everyone" bought for that Ebayer a week or so back.... which are totally different in structure and work brilliantly.

I have used one in the caravan for a couple of years now and I think they are great but her that must be obeyed and daughter say they don't feel right

The one I have is a lifestyle adventure one size large (left over from the climbing days) and I can shower in the van dry me and the shower walls with it wring it out and leave it for 30 mins and its dry and ready to use again and packs down to nothing at all

But hubby HATES 'em sooooo.....

I had originally invested in the rather pricey Gelert ones that most peeps on here seem to be talking about coz they DO dry in ultra fast time and pack down to absolutely nowt meaning a better idea when watching the payload thingy of course, every little bit of weight saved, helps.

Hubby detested them and said they were like drying yourself with a bit of sheeting but he had to put up with them for that holiday coz I'd deliberatly taken ONLY those

So next year I was lucky enough to get hold of the microfibre towels from Lidl and THESE I could pass of as....fairly 'normal' towels due to the fact that they're softer and also fluffier. Anyhoo....they're still very lightweight and dry very fast but take up a teensy bit more space than the Gelert jobbies BUT more importantly, hubby has happily been using them for 3years now and has nooooooooooo idea they're still microfibre efforts What the eye don't see and all that. So he's none the wiser. Wicked of me I know but a gals gotta do what a gals gotta do right girls

Only ONE more sleep till Mevagissey....whooooo hoooooo

And......Microfibre bath and hand towels already stowed in tin tent ready for the off, (inlcuding two of the Gelert ones for me if I go swimming coz I really don't mind 'em that much but they do dry soooooo very quickly). Pooch has his own microfibre towels to which he may well need to get him dried off in the awning if we get our usual Cornish weather......huge apologies to all in that area for the next 2 weeks....best pack yer wellies

We're off to pentewan for two weeks on the 15th hippychick, and we normally get good weather! Hopefully some of the luck will rub off on you. Have a great time.

We have some of the fitness pro eBay towels and theyre good. Obviously not as good as a real towel, but they save so much space!

Hi all,

Used these on our first camp trip last week and they were brill.

Thought i would need a bath sheet rather than a towel but this was perfect... definitely recommended.

Cheers

We paid about £16 for ours  but we have had it years and the OH loves it.. it packs so small and dries really quickly.. I have a cheepo one from B&M bargains (£2.99) but i think this is really good and dries better than a normal bulky towel.. make sure you get a big size though
