Hi guys, I'm getting the van ready for next weekend and my Thetford loo wont flush. I've checked wires etc and they all seem fine. I've had the fuse out (how arkward was that??) and it looks ok but not too sure. I would change it as a matter of course but I can't read what size fuse it is and I can't find anything in the manual where it says what size fuse I need.

Any help would be great, I have a polo mint complete with pocket fluff for the most helpful.

Can you get at the pump? if you can lift it out ( on the bench type loo you lift the toilet roll holder out, don't know about the other models ) and just turn the rotor a little. It is not uncommon for them to sieze over the winter and stop working, when you have done this you will need to replace the fuse again as by trying it you will have already blown the fuse.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013

hi ther i had same problem with mine, If you look in front of the fuse holder there is a small plug with two wires coming out of it, I found that this had worked loose, Just pushed it back in and hey presto it was problem solved. Hope this works for you. Dont go changinging pumps or anything else just yet, chaec all terminations first.

Good luck.

Was there any water left in over the winter as it could have frozen and caused damage to the pump.Ours is a push type pump and had cracked around its base so  borrowed so araldite from the site owner and its still going strong after three years.
