I have recently bought two sets of "Stackerpads" jacking pads which are used for extending the reach of caravan corner steadies on uneven pitches.  They are an excellent product and do "exactly as it says on the tin".  However, I have great difficulty in separating them once they are stacked as, depending on the gradient of each pitch, they can be used separately or as a variable stack.

Please could any forum member advise me how the pads can be easily separated.  My only attempt at forcing them apart with a screwdriver resulted in me breaking a pad.

I have taken your advice and found that they can easily be clipped together and then separated by firstly removing the small ridge on the upper rim BEFORE locking them together.  The rim can be removed with the use of a Stanley Knife or file.  If the pads are clipped together without removing the rim, then it seems to be impossible to separate them without causing damage to the pad.

It is the fact they held together so well that made me buy as the peace of mind they were not going to come apart when used was comforting.
