I can borrow a stella artois fridge for a week on my holiday is there any reason I cannot use it with a proper ehu on a 10 amp site ie will I keep tripping the electrics
I would have thought that the type of fridge you mention has quite a low consumption so would certainly not cause a problem with a 10 amp supply. Just make sure you have a built in circuit breaker.
We have one of these at home as I got fed up with my hubby's beer taking over the kitchen fridge during the Summer months. It has been our best buy this year. Check out the instructions though. I'm sure I read that it should not be used for foodstuffs. No idea why as it has a variable temperature control on the back. Someone on the site is sure to clear this one up.

I don't know but I imagine its a product safety/liability type thing - these fridges wont have been built to normal domestic standards of quality and so there's an increased risk they wont properly hold temperature at 6C or less. Not a major health risk if your beers get a bit warmer, but a big problem if chilled meat isn't chilled enough.
if it's like the stella fridges i have seen the "not for food products" relates to the glass door. food fridges have solid doors to protect food from daylight.

Yes ours does have a glass door. Got it for my husband's birthday before the european cup. Came from Asda but had to buy the beer!! They have now been reduced by £10.00. Woolworths have also got them but not as cheap.

It's because fridges for food normally operate up to 5 degrees centigrade, whereas drink chillers, which is what your Stella fridge probably is, usually operate in the range 5-15 degrees. i.e. not cold enough to prevent food perishing.
I see from your image you seem to have a rolls royce or are you just trying to make us think you have one? why borrow a fridge when you can afford one its less than a tank of fuel for your tank
