We have a 3 way fridge, manufactured by Royal, that works on gas but both 240V and 12V are defective.

Is this repairable, or do we use it on gas until this fails then throw it away.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There is a heating element for the electric function that may need replaced. It may also just be a switch problem, I had that on an old three way that i had.

Fixed the switch myself, it is quite easy, so if needed, an electrician shouldn't charge too much.
