We (me, Valbarley and OHs) took two dutch ovens along camping last week
They are brilliant!
We used them everyday over the campfire and ate better than we would at home
Some dinners we had were:
- Leg of lamb stew slow cooked with mint
- Pork with apple and cider
- Suffolk meatball bolognaise
- Beef strogonoff
- Salmon and tuna steaks with savory rice
- Sausage casserole
- Chicken philadelphia wrapped in bacon
We also had bread every night, parmesan and sundried tomato, strong white and a foccacia
