Was hoping to have a single socket ehu by the weekend, but both local stores , Camping International & WM Camping, don't have any in stock. Does anyone know of anywhere else in Kent or East Sussex that may have one?
It's so i can run a fan heater to stop people moaning that its too early to camp.
Why not get a 3 socket one instead? Then you could use it for a light as well. I don't think there's much call for the single ones now so the shops don't bother stocking them.

If you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, just keep going till you go round the bend.
I had a stroke of luck , was talking about it with my Dad , he he had a brand new one from when they bought their caravan , so just had to but an adaptor.
I don't want more then one socket , because it know in time laptops etc will start creeping in the luggage.
Rose, you've just got me worried. Is your dad's a camping EHU unit or a mains lead for a caravan. I know you can get adapters to convert these into a 13 amp plug but it won't have the built in protection a proper camping EHU has. Please be carful as we'd like you to be posting on here for a long time yet.
You would be entirely reliant on the site electrics for protection. You need a proper EHU unit with an RCD. The only reason for using one of the above is to use the caravan lead as an extension lead at home.
Oh *****, i'll have to re-think that then. Looking increasingly likely that we won't be going this weekend, so will have time to sort out the correct one.
Demo We use one of those and have no complaints at all. It is designed for camping and even has a reverse polarity warning light. Just be aware the best safety device is common sense, so be careful about trailing cables.
