That happened to mine once when i overfilled it , had no problems since.

It can be a problem with the single ring Colemans as there is a temptation to tip the stove so that the hole s upright.  You must not do this as already said it leaven no room for the air above the fuel.  Also check the gland nuts around the valve & flame controls.  they should just "nip" the control passing through them.

Hi - have been having probs with our Coleman Dual Fuel Double Burners in the last year - leaking fuel and not burning properly. Anyhow I contacted Coleman and they gave me the name of their Authorised Repairer in Torquay. Sent the stoves off (well the tanks and generators) and the lovely man Paul has fixed them for us!!! Apparantley there are parts in the stoves which degenerate over time and stop the stoves working properly. He will service your stove for £7 but you do have to pay the postage both ways. He did give some handy hints and tips on how to prolong the life of the stoves between services/repairs though - don't store with petrol in and use Super Unleaded petrol (far less additives to corrode the workings of the stove).
