At present we've been using the umbrella fold into a bag type, very handy as we don't have much space but due to my height I find them very uncomfortable after about 15 mins and i'm then looking to place my legs on something higher, normal only option is OH which doesnt go down well!

Any compact comfy chairs for short people out there..

why not just get a fold up stool which you can use as a foot stool, othrewise you will be sitting at a lower height than everyone else.

Not sure of your height but I have one of these. I find it comfortable enough and I don't even make 5ft.

I'm 4' 11'' so have the same problem. For years I put up with the folding green chairs, but I now have two lower chairs, also folding with bag, bought from Millets two years ago. They are much lower with no sides, exceptionally comfortable for most sizes. I tried to buy more last year, but there weren't stocking them. They must be out there somewhere! Please let me know if you find a stockist! I can send a photo if this would be helpful...

Sorry, not very good at uploading images, but it gives an idea of the low chair versus the standard green chair. Let me know if you find anyone who sells them -they're brilliant.

We've got some of these including the foot rest.

I've got short legs and often find that the seats on chairs are too long so that my knees don't bend properly but I don't have the problem with the Dukdalfs and with the foot rest it is fab. They do take up more space than you'd imagine though.

Now we have the folding camper I nick the caravan step ok until John steps out not knowing I have it on the other side of the awning.
