Just taken delivery of Waeco Combicool 3 way fridge (silver, 30 degrees below ambient), has been bought for our trip to Annecy this July. Gonna be our little girl Millie's first major holiday (8 months old). Just a couple of questions, we'll be using EHU in Annecy and gas in England if the campsite doesn't have EHU:

* Do we store the gas bottle inside or outside tent?

* Will it be ok leaving it on all the time in the tent?

read the instructions very carefully as some of these type of fridges are not designed to be used indoors on gas because of the fumes from the exhaust flue, they are perfectly safe to use on 240v and 12v electric, but check the instructions on gas usage,

Best not to use the gas in a tent, even if well ventilated, If the tent has a SIG then carbon dioxide/monoxide being heavier than air they will collect lower down and could cause problems. better to stay safe and stay alive

you cant afford to mess about with carbon monoxide to be on the safe side try it some where out of harms way and leave a carbon monoxide detector in there with it . only a suggestion try it, it can only put your mind at rest.

We used to run our fridge on gas in the porch of the tent only. We wouldn't have risked putting it inside the main part of the tent as it had a sewn in groundsheet.
