I agree with the vauxhaul they really are poor cars. We gave them two chances both Brand new a Meriva and a new shape Astra, jeez could not get rid of them quick enough. We have owned 2 citroens and they have had absolutely no warranty work done on them and i am sure they will hold up as they get older. My current car is a Nissan patrol and i can only speak highly of Nissan and their quality. Should point out Renault do not own Nissan but they do share engines and platforms in a joint venture.
7 stamps in the book had a £1000.00 service in nov 08 from volvo looks like new inside and out looks good just 2 spots were the lacquer has peeled a bit but looks easy to fix

Sep long weekend Rome
October week. In Devon
How about a rover 75 diesel? cheap as chips, bmw engine, nice big boot etc.
I bought mine nearly 3 years ago with 90K on the clock and had no trouble with it. Been to France camping in it doing 3K miles in 3 weeks without a problem other than the number plate falling of!. Wales last year with the roofbox and bike rack on, boot full and still plenty of room inside.
