we got one of these for use with out laptop -

It works pretty well, the antenna isn't up to much but a cheap tabletop antenaa seems to solve the problem!
Means you can watch/record TV on your laptop, record iplayer programmes off internet to watch at a later date + laptop works as a DVD player - so makes the laptop truly multi-functional!
