Did you manage to get some fuel? I have just found some *Heat Beads* tonight in "The Range". £5.99 for 4kg. Don't know whether this is a rip off or a bargain but I needed some and haven't seen them any where else local so bought a couple of bags. That should keep me going for a while.
All I know from what I've read on here is that the Heat Beads are more compact and burn a lot hotter and longer. Don't know if you can use ordinary charcoal, only had the Cobb a few weeks, still experimenting with it. I would use it on sites with a no BBQ policy, just not mention it, they wouldn't know as there is no smoke.
OK, i decided to read the instructions and all it says is use Briquetes, the better the quality the better. No mention at all about heat beads. Guess Charcoal Briquetes will work then
