Grrr

Im trying to buy a decent camping table that wont get kicked over to easy - doesn't take a degree in engineering to errect - isnt in a HUGH bag - and will actually last more that the 2 occassions we used our last one ( from Tesco ) !!

Looked at Outwell's £50 Halifax L - but even that looks a bit, flimsy ( bags a bit big too ) - any comments would be welcome !

We have something like this

http://www.dpbolvw.net/click-1428744-10475506?url=http://www.outdoormegastore.co.uk/acatalog/Easy_Camp_Bordeaux_Camp_Table_Large.html

Not sure if its the right model as ours was a present. Its heavy but packs down to the dimensions of the table top, is easy to erect (kids can do it) and has lasted 2 trips so far plus several erections for picnics in the garden.

We have a fab table. It is quite big but folds in half and is not too heavy. You can also have it at different heights.

There are similar ones in the UK (someone posted links to a cheaper one in a previous thread)

Lookie

And folded here (scroll down to Tivoli)

Hope this helps

We bought a new one last year with adjustable legs - ah! bliss, we don't have to take offcuts of wood to level the table up now   So I'd recommend that you look for a table with four separately adjustable legs.

That`s like the one we have and it`s brilliant. We got ours from a camping shop when we were away for £19.99 and we are well pleased with it.

we have this one, they do come in smaller sizes 3ft and 4ft I think, but because this is so strong and the surface is a bit like a chopping board I usually prep for cooking on one side and it can be scrubbed clean as you would a chopping board while the other side is ready to be laid for dinner! It is solid and folds down flat.

We have a Vango folding Aluminium one - easily big enough for 4 people, probably 6. I am really surprised by how sturdy it is and it has one adjustable leg - all it needs for uneven ground. The bag is tall and thin, so slides into the car easily. One of our best buys IMHO.
