hi all,

 I'm new to this forum and i just started camping, we went for the first time this weekend. I have been given a calor gas grill but i dont know where to get the gas refill.

does anyone know of a cheap retailer in manchester???

Agree, we don't use them for gas but like to check the camping gear every now and then, got our tow-bar from them as well last year, cheapest around, the last time we went in we got a Coleman (Dual Fuel) Lantern for £19.00.

Go round the tips and try to acquire a free or have a beer on me  bottle.  Size will not matter you can then exchange for the size you want.  First bottle from calor very expensive.  Also ask friends many have an old one at the back of the shed.  Once you have the bottle you can get the refills from calor or  at most large supermarket petrol stations .Or any petrol stations.  The regulator will depend on the size of bottle you will be using so get the bottle sorted then either calor or nearest camping shop for regulator

cheers for that, i went there yesterday and got the calor gas and ended up buying around £200 worth of camping gear.

Camperlands in Northenden is very cheap £15.99 for campingaz and they sell calor and alta gas, i bought 6kg calor for 16.99
