Delta.sorry i Don't know a lot about Gazebos.all i know is that we have just come back from a meet where we had three garden gazebos and a huge big party one all placed next to each other but we had pitched these away from other caravaners/campers so that the only people who would really be bothered were mostly inside having a good time. although one night one of our number had to complain to three people who were having a heated debate at 4 am.i think we all know what time is reasonable to be making a racket and what time we need to just be having a quiet chat and drink

Nice one Jim I do think 11.30pm is a good time to bring down the noise levels on a family site. I drink till i drop but always make sure our lot shush up @ about that time... As to Gazebo's if its a garden one then its not really suitable for campsites, we have heard of the hazzards n horrors that they can do, so I think Utility tents are the only way to go... After all that was what they are designed for yes..?

Happy camping folks...

When on holiday last year it was very very windy and a Gazebo blew away and into a rather nice brand new jag scratching it....thats why I think campsite are starting to ban them.  Imagine if you were asleep and a gazebo pole ripped through your tent and injured you or one of your children....

Hmmm I wonder how you would stand with an insurance claim if that happend, i could forgive, if it was my car and go through the right channels, but if it was one  my kids that got hurt then i would do my nut... at the owner of the gazebo and at the site owner for letting garden gazebos on site........... use a bloody UTILITY TENT.. made for the purpose...! Dont skimp where lives could be at risk.... No excuses....!!!

Lots to take in here. I had looked at a couple of Gazebo's, but will probably now save up and get something fit for the purpose.
