Re zips, just thought I'd let you know, as well as having a zip both sides it also has a zip that starts on one side at the bottom so you can unzip the bottom of it if either you or OH/SO likes dangling feet and still have the sides zipped.  I know my OH gets really restless and the fact that this doesn't confine you at the bottom is really good!

We have this sleeping bag but we find it a bit of a squeeze when we're both zipped in.  

I'm a size 14 and my Dh is a typical Homer sized character , I think I will be on the look for something more roomy. It took me ages to decide on this bag last summer and it is warm and snuggly but not quite spacious enough.

Actually, I if I bought a coleman single bag , do you think I would be able to zip it in as an extra bit of width??  I hope that doesn't sound rediculous!

Exactly the reason we bought this one........cos i hate my feet confined....and we love it
