Hi....Does anyone know where I can find a gril pan.....cooks kebabs etc fill the base with water so the fat drips off into it and sits on a single ring burner.

Ive just purchased the campingaz Bistro active and the Active+ comes with this grill pan, well so it says in the instructions.

but I cant find the pan anywhere, not even online....

Any help would be much appreciated :o)

Hi Jo I was in the outdoor stores (Coventry branch) and they were selling the item you described about£6 or £7 cos we were considering getting one I don't know if there is a branch near you I could always get one for you and either post it to you or get it to my sister who lives in Sidcup whatever suits you

I know its been a while since the last posting on this topic, but I too am looking for Grill Pan for the Campingaz Bistro Active.  I can't get hold of one anywhere.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance!

Yep. Just bought me two of those Argos ones and tried one out over the weekend. Works very well over a galvanised steel bucket full of charcoal. Guess what I'll be taking on my next camping trip ;-)

Is that Argos one all one unit? I have seen one in The Range discount shop near me that are two separate plate type things so the fat doesn't just sit in the middle but drains through the top. They were about £8 from memory.

Hi Feenix
Ive got one of the argos ones. it comes in 2 pieces for easy packing.
i've used it once, and it was ok. but did notice it slides around a bit on the single burner. may have to look to modify it somehow to stop it moving too much. however, it did cook the burgers and sausages ok.
cheers

I haven't tried it on a burner yet as it did look a little unstable. However, over a round bucket or smallish b-b-q, it works great.

I would recommend using reasonable quality plastic tongs and spatulas though. The non-stick coating is not as tough as it could be.

Hope this helps.

Skatty, Yeap thats the one.  Thanks for that.  I'll buy one and give it a go, if it does appear to slide around too much then at least I haven't lost much money!  Otherwise I feel trip to the Range Discount Store may be required!!
