Why do you say that eb? Do you think we're crazy!!
Have camped before but not with kids should be interesting.
Eer not sure why you took offence - he's saying that the grill on the Sunngas is better than the one on the Campingaz. I have the Campingaz Camping Chef and can concur that the grill on it is pants - can barely toast one slice of bread at a time , let alone two (as in the pictures advertising it)
As alluded to by Simon, on the continent, the most widely availbale gas cylinders are the Campingaz ones (904 and 907 I think). All it means is that hwatever stove you end up buiying you will need to get the regulaotr for the type of gas cylinder you plan on using - a lot of placers sell the Campingaz Camping chef topgether with a carry bag, rubber hose, clip and campingaz regiulator included in the price e.g. Camperlans, Caping and General etc)
Use a Coleman liquid fuel stove and you'll never look back... really powerful!!!
In the UK use Alkylate petrol (much cheaper than Coleman fuel and clean unlike unleaded) and when in Europe run it on Coleman fuel that is cheap over there.
Search the forums here and google to find info on the stoves and fuel before you opt for feeble old gas
------------- Please do not adjust your mind... there is a fault in reality

I think it was crossed posts - sounds like a reply to the comment about going for 10 weeks.

Can anyone comment on the toasting abilities of the Sunngas Grillmaster???
We're torn over that and the Sunngas Premier Chef and the idea of toasting one slice at a time does NOT appeal!
Cheers
Mark
I had one of those - the grill was just as good as any other camping stove grill I have tried, i.e., no good at all. I usually dry fry toast or use the partygrill, these days.
If you want to make toast in bulk the only way is a coleman two burner petrole with two pyrmid toasters, that gives 8 slices a go, and unless you have an industrial type far faster than at home.
there have been a few occasions at home after having a party with friends sleeping over that the stove has been got out to provide tea and toast and in the time OH had grilled 4 slices in the kitchen we outside where on our second loaf
This toaster makes super toast really fast .
You can cook 4 slices of toast on this quicker than on an electric toaste . each slices takes about 10 seconds
http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/Gas-Products-Direct this shop has a few types of stoves listed and bit and pieces to go with it. i have the "grill king" (well dad does!) and that works really well for us two :)
