Was looking at a breathable type groundsheet for my porch and was wandering which is the best in terms of,weight ,mud coming through and drainage etc, theres a few choices out there and they dont really go in to that much detail (all promoting their own product).

So here i am again picking all your brains as to the tried and tested `eco mats` as to which performs the best!!

I found the man at breathable groundsheets helpful last year when we wanted a groundsheet for our frame tent. he seemed to give quite impartial and honest advice and explained what the different properties of the different makes/types were- he did not try to sell me the most expensive one either. Hi, I got lucky as my local Winfields had on clearence "AeroTex" frome Quest, it is a breathable groundsheet, made from a fibre called "Jute", I am only using it to help protect my ZiG, I don't think there will be any benifit to for the pitch, also as I bought there remaining stock, I have enough to fill the bedroom of the tent, in a bid to help protect the SiG of the bedroom, the Aerotex packs quite small and has a nice feel underfoot.
