Everywhere I shop these days seems to have appaulling customer service if things go wrong but I had a bit of excellent service this week from Outdoor megastore. I had seen a sleeping bag which I had been after for a good price as well as an adapter I had trouble finding on other online camping stores. The website said to order by Tuesday night to be guaranteed a delivery before the weekend because of the bank holiday so I ordered Tuesday evening, half expecting it not to arrive in time (is it just me or am I the only one always being let down by companies??) We are off on Tuesday early so it was a necessity to get it before then. Well I was so pleased when it was delivered Thursday although they had left it with a neighbour as I was at work. When I unpacked it i was disappointed to find they had sent the wrong one and it was cheaper!!!! (I had paid £50 for mine!!)I appreciate mistakes happen and that they must of been very busy getting orders out.  I rang them and the girl who answered was extremely apologetic but said they couldnt get one to me until next Tuesday which was too late for us as we are leaving quite early. I told her this and she went off for a few seconds and managed to get one out to me the next day. Maybe its just me but it was so nice to have a company go the extra mile to keep customers happy when usually the attitude far from it. Well done outdoor Megastore.!!!

Yes I will second that - I've been to this store a few times and EVERY SINGLE TIME we have been wowed by their friendly customer service, and the level of knowledge of their staff.

Things like this make me almost as happy as you, isn't it great that we still have companies out there who think that the customer comes first!

I have lots of OM experiences since using them for the first time last year....... we seam to shop there every few months!! They are very helpful and always try to put things right should anything not be as you expect.  I also had a Coleman Double Comfort that went flat on night 1, 2 and 3. I lost the receipt so thought hey ho..... then found it 11 months later.... took it back and theye xchnaged no quibbles!!!! We have spent a small fotune with them though!!!!.......

I also find if you're buying  afew things from them ask for a discount and you'll probably get 10% :)
