Oh chjo don't.............. OH says if I buy any more picnic blankets he's putting a huffy bed up in the tent for me (but on a positive note at least I'll be nice and warm with another couple on top it !)
I got some of the battery operated tea lights the other day thought it would be safer for the holders you get for camping I use them in the awning but was a bit wary of real candles.

Never heard of or seen these before Jo, do they just look like ordinary tea lights ?
Do they just glow (is it the same sort of light you get from a real one) or do they have a looky-likey glass flame or what (and what sort of battery do they take).
Gosh it's like an interrogation isn't it ! But I do like the sound of them.....I take it you got them from Poundland (as that's what the threads about? Just checking)
they come in a pack of 4 and have a glass flame that flickers like a real candle and come with the cell batteries included, and yes they do have them in poundland. been looking for them for ages i've seen them before but not as cheap.

I saw some battery camping lanterns in there but didnt know if they were any good. anyone tried them? thought they might do for the kids pods. Also got camping mats in there, was going to get them to go on top of the air beds.

I got one last year, and was very impressed - reasonably bright and small sized. I tried to get some more this year, but our local stores have sold out.
