Hi. can anyone out there recommend a good strong and reliable table and chairs or stools set that folds up into itself. I had already bought one recently and used it on a 1 week holiday it was one where the stools are part of the table, but to be fair it was CRAP! and we also ordered a vango one with fabric stools but the table was to high for my 3 year old when she was sat on one of the stools so we sent that back. Any replies would be welcome.

James.

Hi we have the Royal aluminium picnic table and we think its brilliant, fine for our two children age 2&4 & a really large table - sturdy & robust.  We've used it in all weathers inside & outside tent, and had no problems at all.  I think we paid about £55 for it.

Hi

I agree about the tables with fixed chairs/stools. We had one and it was crap.

Just bought a Suncamp table and benches set and it is brill. It all folds down into itself for neat storage, let alone less car space! The table is also adjustable for height so you could alter it to suit you daughter.

Like Fiona, we have the Royal one.  It's excellent.  You can adjust the table to different heights and it's very lightweight.  We'd previously had the cheaper kind with the seats attached but didn't find it as good.  In the end it became too risky to use it in case it collapsed.

We too have had the plastic one and been through it! We looked at the suncamp one which looked good but then a chance visit to Decathlon purchased their fold up table which has 4 individual stools inside.  This not only was good size we purchased two extra fishing stools to fit a couple of friends when they join us. Can't remember exactly but think was £45 or less-excellent value and quality.
