we have bought a cadac carri chef the skottel wok version. has anyone else got this version?

there is no fat burner tray included to deflect the flames is this right? there is a tray that fits into the main bottom which has a hole in the middle that the flames come straight through. looking on the internet the bit we need is the fat burner tray, but it says replacement tray does this mean we should have got one.

the wok gets far too hot sitting right on the flame and it now means we have to buy the fat burner tray besides any other accsessories

thanks for any advice

You can get different models of the Carry Chef. We have the 8150 model which has a fat burning tray. 

If you have model 8100 it just shows the cadac and skottel. In the instruction manual it says you put skottel directly onto the burner pan ready to use. So therefore it doesnt need the fat pan.

We had a stir fry last night and it was fine - we didnt use the fat pan.
