Hello all,

Not bought anything this year to add to the ever growing amount of camping equipment we posses - and am having withdrawal symptoms!

We have been thinking about getting an extension for our Monty 6 but I have also seen pictures of the sliding canopy - we can't get both - so wanted to get some feedback if possible about which one people have, what people use theirs for and which they would recommend buying . .

Thanks loads!

Claire

hi,

we've had both the front canopy and front extension (returned faulty) - i have to say that the front extension is fab - wouldn't be without it.  Excellent for cooking under.

We've got an Outwell Utah 6 with the front extension (don't know if there was a sliding canopy for this one?), and it's invaluable for us.

Great for cooking under when the weather is less than perfect and saves space within the tent as you can leave chairs etc out there or use it as a drying area for wet clothes etc.

Saw a family at Hollands Wood last weekend who had a front extension then attached to that was a front canopy! We have front extension, brilliant, ideal for cooking in! Gonna get a second front extension to add to our existing!
