Hi all,
Need recommendations on a compact vacuum cleaner to take away with a trailer tent, my wife is one of those always cleaning types, can't get her to give it up even a little. Had a Black&Decker rechargeable, however the battery has given up the ghost, so would prefer a mains electric that is easily stored.

We have a Bissell for our caravan OH is the same not happy unless she's makin me look lazy!!!

Ours is a mains one and is like a handheld one but with a handle & it works brilliantly. Small enough that it goes in the wardrobe.

I will try to find it on the net.

Strange sometimes I think that my wife maybe trying to make me appear lazy. If I feel uncomfortable I just go for a quick spin on the bike, definitely helps my conscience.

I can't believe anyone takes an electric vacuum cleaner camping. What is wrong with a dustpan and brush. You can get long handled ones if you are infirm.

We are in caravan so want to keep it clean, especially when we go for 2 weeks.

Especially with 2 dogs and 3 kids.

4 Children, sand, grass and as I mentioned earlier a wife who is over keen on cleaning, ya just got to make it as easy quick and painless as possible for them. I know I'm spoiling her but a good wife is worth it.

we have a Dyson dc16 animal, many threads on here about it just search. It is expensive, but it is good.

Try a wonder broom from JML. Good for most things including getting pet hair from carpet.
