Hi,

everyone, we have recently purchased a bailey 500/5 after having had a trigano folding camper

however, the beds are really uncomfortable, my hubby not one to complain, but he was up with the lark, as he said his back was killing him, and he couldnt relish the thought of going for two weeks sleeping on it,

anyway get back to the topic,  is there anything like a mattress topper or indeed that itself that would suffice and not make it feel so hard.

wondered if go outdoors might have something, but thought i would ask here first

we had the same problem with our bailey, brought a memory foam from ebay, have not looked back, it is well worth the money and they can be picked up very reasonable.We just roll ours up and tie it, and store it under the seating.

apart from ebay (of which there are loads) are there any more online ones, dont mind ebay but dont know which is the best to look for as there are that many.

i have looked at a few of them but some of them look quite thick, and would think that would be a hassle trying to roll it,

or are the thinner ones a little bit better

We use a mattress pad from ikea. We are really pleased with it. The front double in our caravan was quite uncomfortable due to gaps inbetween the cushions. This smooths them out very well. It is not too heavy and easily fits under the seats with the rest of the bedding during the day. We looked at traditional mattress toppers but found them too bulky for storage.
