Just returned from a wonderful 8 day holiday in Cornwall near Widemouth Bay. I thought we had everything we needed to camp until my wife spotted a Rotary Washing Line. She thinks it would be a better way to dry towels, wet suits, etc.
Does anybody have one they can recommend? Price/Brand/Supplier?
We have one and it was brilliant on a rally where we needed to dry trousers, though last week it blow over tipping our towels on the ground - this was having pegged it as best as we could. I think the design could be improved so you can peg it more easily.
My OH made me get her a "proper" washing line. It's made up of 2 aluminium telescopic poles which sit in bases screwed into ground and secured with guy lines. In fareness seems to do the trick and is up in 5 mins. I'll have a word with her later and see if she can remember where we had it from.
i've got one I got from a camping shop years ago but it never had a stand but I got a stand with pegs from highbridge caravans a couple of years ago and its never fallen over.

I have one, and it went up last Thursday (we went away Tueday) and was in use until we were packing up yesterday. The only reason I didn't put it up Wednesday was that we woke up to howling winds, and lashing rain. Used to to dry towel, wetsuits, and a load of washing.
Ours came from Argos - around £25, and well worthy it. I have even used it in the garden when I had an excess of washing that needed drying.
I got one from Riversway Leisure at the weekend for £19.99. No pegs to peg it down but we have many spares we can use on it. It came in a bag to store it in. Well worth the money, as I even used it at home on Monday.
