I need a cheap inverter to power the mains pump on my new aerobed overnighter. i could get an aerobed pump/light for 19.99 + postage or an aerobed rechargable pump £25 pls postage.

Does anyone use an invertor to power their aerobed pump?, if so which one? have seen this on ebay and at 11.99 if it works is the best option anyone know if it should work or not?

Help - thought id grab a bargin as bed was only £30 but im a non EHU camper dont want to end up spending more than an aerobed explorer should of looked into it with more detail before purchasing lol

It should work but you will need to use the adapter provided, making it a little large and clumsy. Try this as well.  Easier to return if problems.

Don't get anything less than 120W continuous.  The aerobed I have just purchased states 240V 0.5A rating, which is 120W.  Never good to use inverters for long periods at full rating but this is a sixty second hit.  Looks nice for phone / laptop / camera charging as well and can easily be kept in the car. Bonus if you go on aeroplanes but guess you won't be taking the aerobed on the plane.

Just to say the Maplin inverter above works fine with the aerobed.  You may be able to get cheaper ones but I doubt you can get smaller / lighter ones (certainly at 120W).  No longer on offer but it will come back at some point.

Unit is smaller / lighter than the average laptop PSU.  I will keep it in the car at all times.
